Every Novatech lock gives a low-battery warning through the app and a light/sound on the lock itself well before it dies. Each model also ships with a physical emergency key or external battery terminals, so you're never locked out.
Most models install in 20–35 minutes with standard tools and fit standard door prep. We recommend our installation service for a guaranteed fit and warranty coverage, but self-installation is fully supported.
Yes. The lock itself runs on battery, independent of home power, and fingerprint, PIN, and card access all work with no internet connection at all. Wi-Fi is only needed for remote app access and notifications.
Depends on the model — our residential locks support up to 50 users, and the L5 Business supports up to 200, each with their own fingerprint, code, or card, and individually revocable at any time.
Your phone is only one of several ways in. Fingerprint, PIN, and card access all continue working independently, and you can deactivate the lost phone's app access remotely from any other device.
